I think I've got myself convinced that while I really want to teach myself knitting, that it's much harder than it probably is. I picked up sz 8 needles and a guide, and the guide completely baffled me. Hence, I'm extremely grateful that you posted the link for me a couple of times for me to refer to when I actually undertake my project. :) This whole post has given me hope.
