One Year
On March 28, 2007, I flew into Cleveland Hopkins International Airport for the first time and met Johnathan in person. For lack of a better way to put it, it was the beginning of a very wonderful thing. We went to an indoor amusement park at the IX Center, went to dinner at the House of Blues, went to New York City on complete whim, and just generally hung out and had a good time together.
It has been a busy year, which has included engagement and “wedding” plans, a big cross-country move, several job changes for both of us and a hell of a lot of fun.
Suffice it to say that I’m really glad that I went through with the trip out to Ohio last March and I’m even more glad to have met Johnathan. I love him so much that it hurts sometime, and even with its lows, I wouldn’t trade the last year for anything.
It still shocks me to think that it’s been a year already. Where did the time go?
Here’s to many, many more years together.
